This box marks my two years with FabFitFun and my one year on their annual subscription plan. If you have not heard of FabFitFun, I totally suggest you check it out. It is a quarterly subscription box that is $49.99 each quarter or $179 for an annual subscription. You get a variety of things from fashion, beauty (like makeup, skincare and haircare), fitness, home goods and even more. If you are interested in trying FabFitFun. Don't like it once you try it? Then you have the option to unsubscribe. But I hope you stick with it because it is honestly one of the better subscription boxes I have found. I don't often try new products too much, so this is the perfect way for me to try new things. Most of the items you receive in the box are near, at or even over the amount of the box itself. The boxes retail value is six to seven times the price you pay. Now you would not find me going out purchasing $30+ beauty products, but this box allows me to try things I would typically never try for a fraction of the cost. Now... let us get into this season's box!
Please note, I am not affiliated with any of these products that I am linking. I am only linking them to save you time in finding them. The first item was one everyone had a choice to pick between either a makeup case or a beach towel. I personally picked the case and honestly this was the one item I was the most excited about receiving. The case is the Yumi Kim Makeup Train Case that I picked in this beautiful floral pattern. Sometimes when choosing which product you want, you can also choose what pattern or color you prefer. The case is quite larger than I was expecting and I know it is going to easily become my new favorite travel case.
These next four items were ones that select members got to pick which they would prefer. Select members are those that pay the annual subscription. Non-select, those that pay quarterly, were given one item randomly from each of these categories. This first choice item I picked was the Tarte Tarteist PRO to go palette and the Sex Kitten liquid liner. I had the choice of this or the Tarte Tartiest PRO glow highlight and contour palette. I personally wear eye products more than face products, so I thought this was the right choice. The palette has great day or night shades that are perfect for any scenario and the packaging for the liquid liner is so cute!
Next up is the ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel. I chose this over the Orlando Pita Play Atmos-Shield Hair Protectant Treatment Spray. Personally I am always down for more skincare products to try out, even though I should probably start picking some hair products because now I have an abundance of skincare products all over my house! Haha, but a girl loves her fruit based skin products! Hence the reason why this product drew me in more than the Orlando protectant spray I said above.
The next choice item I picked out was the Maji Sports Loop Resistance Band. I could have also picked the Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator or the Minor History Post Script Wallet. I am not much of a purse/wallet girl, so I passed on that and I had already picked one skincare item. I am also trying to grow the amount of items I have for my workout gear at home and currently I do not own a resistance band, so this was the perfect choice for me!
The last choice item I picked was the Jaboneria Marianella Hawaiian Black Lava Body Caviar. (Whoops! I got another skin care item!) My other choices were a ERTH TU Y YO Ring, which I honestly don’t wear jewelry all that much, or the Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel, which I now wish I had added as a bonus item to my box because it sounds like something I could use! That is another thing with FabFitFun, if you want multiple or all choice items instead of just one, you can pay just a bit more to add them to your selection! However I do not regret choosing this product. I mean, black lava body caviar just sounds beyond cool? I know my boyfriend is pumped to steal this one from me here and there.
Now moving onto the last three items. These three are ones everyone gets but no one gets to choose. The first one is the FOREO LUNA fofo in the Midnight Black color (there was about six colors you could receive). This was the products exclusive launch to FabFitFun subscribers. It has advanced skin sensors that helps create a personalized profile and skincare routine for your skin through their app. Which I am honestly beyond psyched to try out. Now I could not find the exact one that I got in my box, but here is a similar one that I had found on their site that they also offer called the LUNA mini 2.
Next to that we have the COOLA Face Sport SPF 50 White Tea Moisturizer. I have had some COOLA products back when I had my Ipsy subscription. I didn't really find much appeal with them, but of course they were one to three time use samples. However, as I said, I am always down to try a nice skincare product.
Lastly, I got the Pier 1 Imports Marble Ring Dish. I absolutely LOVE when I get home or stationary stuff from FabFiFun and Pier 1 Imports is my jam. I like the concept of this dish and it’s a good size, however the marble design just looks to be printed onto the dish giving it a blurry effect. Which I’m not all for, but I’m still going to use this dish because it goes exactly with my rooms decor.
Those were all the priced products within this seasons box! They also threw in this seasons sponsored item which was the Wildlife Conservation Society Straw. It is a paper straw that you can use then recycle instead of using a plastic straw that could potentially end up in the ocean harming sea life. If you want more information, you can go to giveasip.us. After going through everything in the box, the overall retail value is $344.99. For me only having to pay $44.99 each season (it's lower since I pay annually), I think that is a pretty good deal.
Overall this was a REALLY good summer box. Typically the summer boxes are my least favorite of the quarterly boxes to receive, but I for sure loved this one a ton!
